- Firstup Frontline Conference (Atlanta, free). Kevin Ertell, author of The Strategy Trap, keynotes. The welcome reception is tonight and the main event is tomorrow.

- Comms Camp: (Microsoft, in-person, free) A hands-on workshop for comms teams and the IT partners who support them. You need Microsoft 365, Teams, and Viva Engage access. Copilot helps but isn't required.
- Oct 14: Comma Partners Head/Director of Internal Comms roundtable, Bristol, UK (In-person). Email [email protected] with your city in the subject line.
- Oct. 16: Communication Leadership Summit USA, Washington DC (IABC + Strategic) An unconference, so there's no fixed agenda. It's open to corporate communicators, consultants, and public affairs and internal comms pros. The group is kept small on purpose, so you can have real conversations and leave with ideas you can use Monday.
- Oct. 18-20: PRSA ICON 2026, Orlando, FL: The largest annual gathering of PR and comms pros. Three keynotes anchor the program: Tyler Gillum, head coach of the Savannah Bananas, on putting fans first. Sally Hogshead on communicating with more authenticity and influence. And Gaby Natale, the first Latina to win three Daytime Emmys, on resilience and reinvention. Between them, expect workshop blocks, an exhibit hall, networking events, and a DEI celebration.
