Hi, there.
This week, I bring you 40+ new #CommsJobs and some resources that I trust will be helpful to you.
But before we get to those, a couple of things:
This week, this newsletter surpassed 2,000 subscribers and my LinkedIn profile surpassed 25k followers! Thank you so much for your continued support and encouragement. I really love seeing this community grow!
I’ve been struggling to send out newsletters on Fridays so, starting this week, I’m going to shift to Mondays. Thanks for understanding!
If you want to stay on top of the things I see throughout the week, make sure to follow me on LinkedIn and check my “reactions” section, where you’ll see all the posts I react to in “real time.”
Last week, I hosted a #CommsJobs hangout in Princeton, NJ, and it was so much fun! Thank you to all of those who made it to this gathering and, if you couldn’t make it, no worries! We will have more meet ups in this area and I’m also always happy to help organize and promote gatherings in other parts of the world. Just email me and we’ll figure something out!
Now, some helpful resources:
Julie Masson, founder of the Nonprofit Comms Club, published the 2026 Non Profit Comms salary report and it’s free. Very interesting and helpful piece of research for folks in this space. Check it out!
Andrea Greenan, VP of Internal Comms at Fanny Mae, posted a list of firms and recruiters that regularly conduct senior-level searches in communications, corporate affairs, marketing, and investor relations. Very useful!
I recently wrote a couple of things that may interest you:
One of the most recurrent questions in my conversations with communicators are about resumes. I think resumes are overrated and I explain why in this article.
I picked up my son from summer camp this weekend and what I saw got me thinking about culture and belonging, so I wrote about it here. Let me know what you think.
Also, I posted about my ideal org chart for a high-performing Corporate Affairs organization and it really struck a chord. At the moment, the post has ~500 reactions, ~300 saves, and ~60k impressions.
Everything-PR published two very interesting pieces this week:
They ran a new Reputation Index: how LLMs describe agency holding companies when asked who's biggest and who's best. Turns out those are two different answers: Omnicom owns size after absorbing Interpublic. Publicis owns the praise. And S4 Capital shows what happens when your most recent headlines are the ones the machines remember.
And this article argues that individual journalists and creators are successfully eclipsing the institutional brand they work for, holding more brand equity than the company itself. Very thought provoking.
And that’s it for this week, but before I go:
If you want to support the work I do, please consider donating via Ko-Fi to cover costs of platforms and tools. Every dollar helps! :)
If you want to help grow the community, please share this newsletter with your friends. Thanks in advance!
If you would like to share events, jobs, resources, or anything helpful to the community, please send it to [email protected] and I’ll include it on the newsletter.
Thanks for the support and have a great week!
Daniel
